Project: Prevention of sexual violence against women through the evaluation of the Circles program for the support and supervision of high-risk sexual offenders returning to society in its second year of implementation
Goals of the project:
The FIADYS Foundation continues its commitment to preventing recidivism and protecting victims of sexual violence through the launch of a new research project on the Circles España program, aimed at high-risk sexual offenders who, after serving their sentences, return to the community.
This program began in 2021 as a pilot project, co-funded with the H-Amikeco Association and made possible thanks to a grant derived from the corporate tax.
At present, the Foundation is developing a new phase of the study with the support of funding from the personal income tax (IRPF) allocation of the Ministry of Social Rights. The project is carried out in collaboration with the Prison Administration (IIPP), the H-Amikeco Association, and the Health and Community Foundation.
The main objective of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the Circles España program in order to contribute to greater protection of women against the most severe forms of sexual violence.
