Project: Protection of women against the most severe forms of sexual violence through an in-depth analysis of the highest-risk typologies of sexual offenders to improve risk management

Goals of the project:

FIADYS Foundation has been awarded a new project entitled “Protection of women against the most severe forms of sexual violence through an in-depth analysis of the highest-risk typologies of sexual offenders to improve risk management.”

The purpose of this study is to conduct an in-depth analysis of the most severe cases of sexual violence against women and children, with the aim of improving strategies for risk assessment and management in these contexts.

To this end, the following specific objectives are set:

1.To study in detail a broad sample of high-risk sexual offenders in prison, in order to identify the main factors associated with criminal recidivism.

2.To explore the characteristics of the most severe sexual assaults, committed by individuals assessed as having a high risk of reoffending.

3.To analyze access to and participation in the Sexual Aggression Control Program (PCAS) in the most severe cases, identifying potential barriers and areas for improvement.
