Project: Community Service through Public Utility Tasks and the Impact of COVID-19 on its Implementation

Goals of the project:

The purpose of this research is to understand the profile of individuals participating in Community Service through Public Utility Tasks (TBC) carried out by Cruz Roja (Red Cross), and to assess the effectiveness of these measures and their impact on recidivism rates.

Additionally, due to the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on the implementation of these measures, the study will also analyze the effects of the pandemic on the development of TBC and its potential impact on their effectiveness.

This research is conducted by a team of professionals from Cruz Roja and other institutions, with the support of the General Secretariat of Penitentiary Institutions, and is coordinated by Meritxell Pérez Ramírez, the Secretary General of Fiadys.
