Project: Analysis of cases and sentences on racism, xenophobia, Lgbtiphobia and other forms of intolerance 2014-2022

Goals of the project:

The purpose of this study is to continue with the analysis of hate crime sentences carried out in two previous reports, in which an analysis of hate crime cases and sentences from 2014 to 2017 was carried out.

Hate crimes are understood as orders referring to the following articles of the Penal Code: 170.1, 173.1, 174, 314, 510, 510.bis, 511, 512, 515, 522 to 526 inclusive and 607, 607.bis, the aggravating circumstance of article 22.4.
