General Meeting of CirclesEurope
Today, October 8, 2026, we attended the Circles Europe General Assembly—an online gathering that brought together the network’s member organizations to continue advancing the development of the Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA) model.

Following the General Assembly, a seminar was held to address various perspectives regarding interventions with individuals who have committed sexual offenses, the prevention of reoffending, and victim protection.
The event featured Mark O’Sullivan—a writer, comedian, sexual abuse survivor, and Circles UK collaborator—who shared how his personal experience as a victim has shaped his commitment to organizations working with individuals who have committed sexual offenses. His presentation prompted reflection on the importance of incorporating victims’ experiences and perspectives into the development of prevention and social reintegration strategies.
Additionally, Ingeborg Jenssen Sandbuckt (PhD, University of Oslo, Norway) presented findings from her recent doctoral research on sexual offenses, bringing a scientific perspective to the discussion and contributing to the exchange of knowledge in this field of intervention. From FIADYS, as a participating entity in the evaluation of Círculos España, we place great value on these spaces for international collaboration. They enable us to share knowledge gained through our research, learn from the experiences of other organizations, and contribute to improving evidence-based interventions.
We extend our thanks to Circles Europe and all participating organizations for their commitment to knowledge exchange and to strengthening European collaboration in the areas of preventing sexual reoffending, social reintegration, and victim protection.
